Great 9/11 Commercial

I just saw this commercial on TV and had to lead with it.  That is how you make a commercial.

But I woke up today remembering where I was on 9/11 just like everybody else probably.  Remembering how I was at the WTC a month before on a class field trip and how crazy it was that the entire area I visited just wasn't there anymore.

Remembering how I thought my at-the-time 16-year-old brother would be immediately drafted to go to war because nothing like this had ever happened before.

I have since understood how stupid that idea was, but I was young and scared.

Then I thought how I wasn't even affected, in a familial sense, by 9/11 and couldn't imagine what it must have been like to go through such a trying, chaotic time.

Then I thought of how hungry I was so I grabbed some breakfast.

I came into today thinking about what to do on The Buzz about 9/11.  I actually thought a great deal about it because I didn't know what to do.

Do I make a post?  Do I leave it alone?  Can I even be funny if I make a post?  Is it in poor taste to be funny today?

What should I even write?  Happy 9/11 day?  Never forget?  I had no clue how to proceed.

So I just started writing.

And I realized that, while it is important what you say, it is more important just to say it in order to memorialize not only 9/11, but also all of the people involved.

That's all I got.  Happy Sunday.
