Well This Sucks: Tito's Gone

I feel like crap today.  Something had to change after the worse collapse in Red Sox history.
And something did change.

Tito's officially out as the manager of the Boston Red Sox.  Good luck to the next dude that has to fill those shoes.

Here's a fun fact you might not know: Terry Francona was the best manager in the history of the Red Sox.

And now he's moving on.

I hate it.

Great teams don't have instability and uncertainty like this.  Great teams have all that shit figured out so that they just have to worry about being great teams.

I wonder what the exit interview went like.

Won the first World Series in 86 years to shut up all the naysayers finally - check.

Won yet another World Series title making the Red Sox organization legitimate once again - check.

Liked by every player that ever played for you - check.

One of the most popular managers in Red Sox history - check.

Only manager to win his first 8 World Series games - check.

2nd winningest manager in Red Sox history - check.

Best manager the Red Sox have ever had - check.

Yeah, I'm sorry, Tito.  This isn't working out.  We're going to have to let you go.

And don't tell me it was all Tito's idea to leave.  That shit is as mutual as it gets.

If that pale white woman ghost John Henry really wanted to keep Tito, he would've kept him.

But Tito's gone and it's time to move on.

I wish John Farrell hung around a few more years because he would've been the perfect candidate.

Unfortunately, I think the Sox will give a long look to DeMarlo Hale because he is so familiar with the way shit works around here.

It will be interesting to see which direction the front office goes in.
