REPORT: Pats Re-Leigh-se Bodden

But on a more serious note, the Pats really did release CB Leigh Bodden today.

Did not see that coming...

To be honest, I should probably care more about this, but I don't.

I can't remember the last time I said to myself, "Dang, I wish Bill didn't release that dude. He's sick now."

I know it's happened, but very rarely do you see a guy go on to play better on another team after being released by the Pats.

But I'm going to miss Leigh.

He was the only good player in the secondary before McCourty showed up and he earned the 4-year deal he got from Bill.

Unfortunately, it looks like he couldn't catch up after sustaining a couple of injuries.

It's too bad because he seems like a good dude.

It's also too bad because now Antwaun Molden will see a lot of time if Ras-I Dowling can't go.

And Antwaun Molden is used best when he's playing approximately zero snaps-a-game.
