Anybody Else Lose Some Respect for the Bruins Tonight?

I was originally going to post about how bad the Bruins looked tonight and how it had been a long ass time since the B's got their collective asses whooped like that.

But then I watched the rest of the game and came to the conclusion that they just didn't know how to get blown out like men tonight.

I definitely lost a little respect for them tonight.

Every team gets blown out from time to time.  It happens to the best of them.

But to lose focus and start trying to force people to fight out of frustration is unacceptable.

It's not a good look.

Tonight, the Bruins trully looked like a bunch of thugs.

They were vastly outplayed and reverted to forcing their frustrations out on a team that just doesn't have a lot of fighters.

I hate Kaleta as much as the next guy.  The way he plays is exactly what Bruins fans hate.  But you just can't let that shit get to you.

The Bruins let it get to them and started taking cheap shots.

A couple of instances stick out.

The first was when Kaleta checked Chara a little bit late, sending Big Z off balance crashing into Timmy.

The fans obviously were all over him for knocking into his own goalie because quote honestly, it was hilarious.  You never see that.

But then Chara went right after Kaleta and layed a nice hit on him.  But the only problem was, it didn't have the fucking puck.

Two minutes in the box.  See ya later Chara.  Thanks for letting your emotions get the better of you.

I think that was the first time I've seen Chara get embarrassed and let his pride get the best of him.

The other instance involving Kaleta was late in the game when Looch went by him and kind of hit him in the head with his stick while he was on his knees.

What the fuck are you doing Looch?

That's not you.  That's not how you play.  And that's not how the Bruins play.

That's a Sean Avery move.

Bottom line is, if you're going to dish it out, you sure as hell better be able to take it.

If you're going to have the balls to blow a team out and keep piling on (which is totally cool in my book.  If you don't want that to happen, then stop the other team from doing it.  It's Bill Belichick 101.) then you better be able to take a beating when teams blow you out.

And tonight, the B's just were too immature, or whatever it was, to deal with a beating.

Where the fuck is Horton when you need him?
