I know it's been awhile since my last post.

A ton of you have been wondering when I would be back.

And by a ton I mean one of you.

But on to more important things.

What a commersh out of Vancouver.

Just ripe with jealousy, immaturity, and pathetic...ness.

I love it.

This is a real commercial, by the way.

I sleep so well at night these days knowing the the Bruins completely destroyed their will last year and took away literally the only thing that matters to those hosers: The Cup.

#FucktheNucks

<dc:subject>Red Sox</dc:subject>

TRADE DEADLINE: B's Get My Boy Back Along With Mike Mottau and Greg Zanon Basically for Free

The trade deadline for the bruins this year got the job done, even if I've it was painstakingly minor. I've been more entertained reading books before like a nerd than I was today at the deadline.

But PC did a great job of not overpaying in a market that was filled with buyers and not many sellers.

Simple freakonomics tells us that lack of demand leads to price inflation. A.K.A Johnny Oduya for a 2nd rounder and a 3rd rounder.

More like Johnny O'don'tya...right?

But anyways, on to my sick expert analysis:

B's trade Steve Kampfer straight up to the Wild for D Greg Zanon

Sucks to lose Kampfer, but this is a pretty solid deal. Kampfer could turn into a much better player than Zanon, but Zanon fits a need, especially since Corvo sucks and Boych was killed yesterday.

Zanon is basically like Boych with a worse shot, but is better at blocking shots.

Last year, Zanon had more hits than Dennis Seidenberg (169 to 161) and way more blocked shots (212 to 174). Which is impressive considering Dennis Seidenberg is one of the best shot blockers in the league.

He's great at the hip check too and he looks like a murderer. So I guess that can only be a good thing, right?

B's trade Yannick Riendeau and Marc Cantin for Brian Rolston and Mikey Mottau

My boy is finally back where he belongs. Brian Rolston is easily one of my favorite Bruins of all time.

He's the only guy I know that consistently went with the slap shot on the break away. That's such a bad ass move. What's better is that he scored a lot of the time.

He's like the real life Fulton Reed. I think it's pretty clear that he and McQuaid will now assume their roles as the Bash Brothers.

Seriously though, set up Rolston on the point of the 2nd Power Play unit and watch the bombs he rips. He won't be anywhere near good, but he can definitely still bring it.

SIDE NOTE: I don't know if he still says it, but Rolston used to say the phrase, "there's no question" all the time.

I'm hoping he still says it because it is hilarious how often he used to say it and it will make me look cool for remembering that.

So just something to keep an eye on. Or an ear on...nah, that's a lame ass joke. Keep an eye on it.

The best part of these trades is that they allow Chara to team back up with Seids to re-form that dominant, unrelenting D pair that we saw in the playoffs last year.

It also allows the D pairings to all be right-left combos. That's not a huge deal, obviously, but it's a nice luxury to have.

Overall, PC didn't give up anything that great while bringing in the type of players that fill a need, similar to his acquisitions of Chris Kelly and Rich Peverley last year.

Hopefully, it ends the same way.

Is this any different than what the Yankees always do? (Rhetorical question.) Am I supposed to suddenly be scared of this overrated rotation? 'Cuz quite honestly I'm not. It's yet to be proven if Kuroda's skills over in Quadruple A land - excuse me, the NL West - will carry over to the best division in baseball, and in spite of his tremendous talent Pineda had one good year in a pitcher's park. Couple that with the fact that you're still relying on some combination of Ivan Nova, Phil Hughes, AJ Burnett and Freddy Garcia for the final two rotation spots and I'm nowhere near impressed.

Is the rotation better than it was 2 days ago? Absolutely. Is it the best in baseball? No, not even close. Who's pitching staff would I rather have, ace through closer, for 2012? Still the Red Sox, no question.

<dc:subject>Red Sox</dc:subject>

</rdf:RDF>
